Still not gonig to agree since each one simulates something similar but it each also slightly different, e.g. in order to find where the problem occurs during the folding of proteins you neeed to change variable when running the simulation, e.g. again, temperature. if you have two of the same project the end result will be different anyway. So again your still not losing.

And also, A level biology ftw. ;)

Edit: Congrats on hitting 600k btw.

Ok guys, I was down for a couple of days due to Network issues. But I'm back now! And I've also reformatted my Athlon rig with 64 Bit Windows Professional, and, if any of you are wondering if it helps any, I love it! There are 64 Bit patches for some games like FarCry and it can help with FPS.

About the rig in my specs: I don't 'own' this Core 2 Duo rig, I just use it alot. I wanted to get my stone-age one out of there. I could fold on it if I wanted, but it's having some problems with heat.

Good job! We are flying through the ranks now. We are currently at 250. :)

Ok, I said I didn't get a new rig, I just use it some...

Asterx - How long before you're back folding again?

Ok, is somebody folding with my name? because I keep getting CPUs active that are not mine. I'm not mad (Not at all!) but I'm just wondering who it is, and why they are doing it?

Asterx - You're about to take over double_cut !! Are you almost done with your work, and ready to fold at full-throttle? :D

    Billabong - Why aren't you folding ?? Team Guru3D needs you !!

KFleshman - What has happened to you, lol?

We need people to fold !! C'mon people.

    lol - Another scooby mystery!!

No, I'm having difficulty getting a couple of quad cores hooked into my wireless network and for some reason mpiexec doesn't seem to like running on a system where there are 20+ IP addresses assigned to each network connection :(

No that would be 2 different PS3's (thus 2 Cells) and 4 different Xeons (4 cores x 4 CPU's = 16 cores). I think there is a Linux client but have no idea what it is like or how well it would run on the PS3.

Bahamut. I find your join date most suspect. As I do your current hardware setup and the fact that you were able to elaborate that the Xeon based machines eluded to in double_cuts post are in fact a quad CPUs (as there is no indication of this in double_cut's post).

Futhermore you are not now, nor have you ever folded for guru3d so your participation in this thread firmly indicates to me that you are really non-other than...

*takes dramatic step back and tugs at Bahamut's forehead...

    Double_Cut has returned!

HA! It was you! Did you think we could be so readily fooled??

Right! Your post dated 5-31-07 indicates that this is when you first fired up your Xeon quads. By the same token you stopped on or around the beginning of July, which means you were folding roughly the whole of June, and in that time you managed... just a minute...

236,824 points or 7,894 ppd. Yesterday you turned in 8,466 points. That means you're going at full tilt. That means thats all you've got.

That's ALL you've got Biatch!! :smoke:

Disclaimer: The above is intended as "bitch talk" and as such should not be taken as an indication of intent or ability. It should also not be taken intravenously. ;)
