    That's racist!

(Well, it would be, if it wasn't true.....)

I remember reading an article that all the enemies would have their own unique look.

alma: good job.... comparing a trailer of the single-player campaign to a beta demo of the multiplayer with limited visual quality to keep the file size down. brilliant.

the koreans in Crysis probably all look the same for the same reason the few demos that came out lately don't look quite as good as we'd hoped. keeping the file size down.

Well I no longer get the dual image thing. Its a great game. Even in Easy mode the koreans are hard to kill. And the AI is awesome. Had a great car chase with them.

So they will look different in the full game? Im just tired of fighting clones in most games.

well.... it would kinda make sense. i mean... the island even in the demo is freakin huge, which has to make up for quite a bit of the 1.8GB.

Ok so I'm downloading the demo right now. In terms of what you guys are experiencing, what kind of performance can I expect from my system?

Yeah, but in Unreal Tournament 3 the full version there is going to be a single player story game aswell as the usual multiplayer side.

make a "System.cfg" in "\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo" then go to
"\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config\CVarGroups" and on those files you have all the entries and how are they set in each level
(4=very high). put in your System.cfg the ones you like r_sunshafts=1

DX9 -- 50-100FPS . I never saw better graphics in my life .Its amazing.
    ALL HIGH no AA 1280x1024.

DX10 -- 10-15FPS. Simply unplayable i suspects 320mb here or thats just the requiments for DX10.
Graphical diffrance ? Minor. Ground is better textures seems to be sharper. Comparing to screen shots its hard to see diffrance on the first look.

not really. Most of dx10 effects are visual in motion not as a picture.

I don't get the marketing strategy in releasing such a low quality demo, IMO the file size story is secondary, considering the almost 2gb demo of Crysis...maybe UT3 final version will look better but I don't expect miracles.
