Stranglehold is working with the 163.76 Beta Drivers

so grab them if you had BSOD at the loading of the new game .

I had trouble with crashs with these
And found that the 163.69 drivers would not uninstall even ran drive sweeper
it would not get rid of them .
i did findly get them to uninstall boot to safe mode uninstall the 163.69 then boot to safe mode check in dev manger to see if the video adapter is useing the VGA driver if not from the Dev manger do a uninstall also goto the c drive to the NV file and make suer the 163.69 file is gone if not delete it then boot to safe mode again and check if the video adapter is useing the VGA driver then run drive sweeper again reboot to safe mode and install the 163.7X drivers . dont know why the 163,69 drivers had so much trouble to get rid of them but that is the only way i got rid of them seems to have fix some of the lock up i have had with the 163,7X drivers

Installed the 163.76 on XP last night.

TF2 is blazingly fast and super smooth now.
Stranglehold is much smoother now. I haven't seen if the rare texture corruption is gone, but so far so good.

    Very good stuff.

nvidia beta page replaced and now shows 163.75 instead of 163.76-
I wonder why is that, maybe they found some bug with them

hmmm strange, you´re machine specs are way over TF2 requirements. It is hard to believe that a minor upgrade in drivers will cause such increase.

But anyway, I am happy that you are happy :), I will try them as well and look if TF2 can go faster :) (even if it is almost already to fast)

Does any of these drivers support the old Unreal Tournament 99? Every single drivers so far is either laggy or choppy during game. The only driver that work the best so far for UT 99 is the 162.50.

163.75 helped smooth things out on XP 32bit while playing TF2 on my aging system.
