lol, 40 or 50??!? I've been gaming since gaming was invented, I played games on my ZX Spectrum back in 1982 and I'm only 34!
Plus I can still kick ass! ;)

People have asked for the dodge jumping to be removed and the movement to be change because the fact is UT99 was and is the best FPS ever created.
Sure, UT2004 is a great game but people want the new game to feel more like the original.

Personally I like dodge jumping but if the game is anything like the original then I won't cry because it has gone.

^ I agree with that 100%. UT99 was amazing when it came to playablilty.. easily the best online FPS that I've ever played..
ah the good ol days of clanning in UT99. 2k4 just didn't have that for me.. nothing was quite like the original.

Really hoping that this new one will have that feel..

I dunno guess your card is special, alot of people with cards better had to run 1024x768 high shaders off to get decent frames. My old 7900GS heavily overclocked struggled with both MOH and Bioshock which is about the same speed as your card.

Well if there's a remote possibility that the X1300 will perform well, my card will rock. That's so twisted, really. :)

That's strange. Most 7 series owners that I know don't have any problems with it. Which drivers were you using?

I run at 1400x1050 max and it runs like silk. I don't even have anything overclocked yet.

What i did notice is the first time playing it was choppy for both Bioshock and MOH, but after the first time everything started working properly and i bumped everything up.

Oh ok, 8800 GTS's average 50ish WITHOUT aa at that resolution on better hardware in DX9. Like I said you guys have special 7 series cards since they defy their own specs and perform miracles.

Unless you guys consider 30 AVERAGE to be smooth and hiccup free in an FPS, of course..

Uhm m8........can i ask what is your problem. The matter of the fact is that i am playing the game smooth and the way i want. What the hell is your grudge on this......I dont care what others said i care only for my system on how it performs OK. Now stop bashing 7 series cards and get over it. :knock:

I'm glad it'll feel more like the original as that's the one I enjoyed the most, and it's also one of the reasons I'm really looking for to this game.

    Sweet,……

    Bring it ON!!!!

I just sincerely hope that this isn’t one of those semi-open betas whereby you have to pay for an exclusive FilePlanet membership to get a key.

LOL, two weeks,…its ready when its ready,…right!?!

So we have been “two weeked” in an official capacity. Its not the first time we have heard that mantra though ;)
