hi all.. i oc my pc from 2.8 to 3.0 ghz and guess what... the Vcore is Lower that stock (1.30000) to be exact, i did prime 95 stress test and core temp reported a max temp of 50 Degrees... here are the details.. 375 x8 = 3 GHZ ram at 750 (ddr2 800 Memory) 1:1 Fsb Vcore= 1.3000 pci-e Freq= 100 everything else pretty much normal.... i just want to know if it is bad that my cpu is running only 1.3000 vcore at this oc should it be needing more power....?
no, that looks about right, i think mines running at 1.32v and ram at 815, i darent change anything without net access at home as i just destroyed my XP arsing with voltages last week lol
if the oc is running stable and the lower voltage i would leave it where it is and enjoy the lower temps
is that 1.2000, or 1.2 something... also i am using all the power saving features line C1E i think and there were 2 other ones...
If youre using the powersaving features, is that voltage taken after its been on full load for a while? just curious
nothing wrong with that every one starts some where, 4gb is not to hard on a 6400 great little clockers and with some great m/b's and mem theses days it should be a lot better. With that said you guys should be trying to run them in the 500's fsb thats when they honk 300's dont cut the musted
I got 4.3ghz with 1.26v http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o63/aircoolguru/sdgsdgfgg.jpg?t=1191614069 (lol)
Yeah but in all fairness you weerent very specific anyway. Anyways, I was only having a little fun : /
