Probably no difference at all between the beta and this whql.
I'll do a clean install of them and test them out, then sit back and wait for the next beta. Hopefully in around a week :)

GT Legends / GTR2 / Race 07 / M3 Challenge are smooth as silk, and Company of Heroes: Opposing Force is a bit quicker with these, at least for me.

On the other hand the CP still won't work. :(

Back to the classic as used to be. :blunt:

Guess the cp is only working with the 8xxx series or so it seems. It's fine here.

Any changes going from 94.24 or 163.71 beta to the WHQL? frankemente i noticed that this driver is BAD for my 7600GT, most games take hit at performance, so now i use DNA 94.24 the best driver per date for 7600GT.

I think the main thing here is changes from beta to WHQL besides a few bytes to say that in the change log..

What do you expect? Vista has more bugs than XP ever did. Not only was it rushed to retail, but many of the features it was supposed to have were never implemented - the features that would actually make a huge improvement over XP, like the file indexing system. Instead, it was half-assed released with dx10 and a stupid new GUI.

Companies are doing their best to work with new hardware and MS's ****ty Vista to get stuff to work. You should take the of advice of the many people who have opted not to consider Vista until SP1. It's just not ready yet. Hell, critical XP patches are still being released!

Sorry if I come accross hostile...but man, you have no idea of the stupidity of your comment.

I refuse to use these latest versions, now nvidia want me to download another frequently updated 40mb package ntune to overclock/see temperature - ridiculous! I'll stick with 93.71 until I am absolutely forced to upgrade (ie. a game I really want to play will not run on them).
