I can confirm Rivatuner 2.03 allowed me to OC my card with the 163.67 drivers!

OC'd from 610/800 to 640/840 and sticks after reboot now!

They have only changed the overclocking for the 8xxx-series so that it works fpr you is no surprise. :)

I've read that two people with 8 Series cards are able to overclock with these dirvers, pilistorac and Burnt_Ram, so it it's working for some people with 8 Series cards too!

    Both!

Rivatuner keeps the OC in both XP and Vista on my card!

It will still allow you to overclock, just not as high as before until the apps get updated.

Oups ... it seems that on vista 64 shader can't be overclocked (at least with RT so far) so highest settings for core is 594 ... moving slider higher change nothing it only revert core to 594. On xp it works fine. :O

Overclocking here works "fine" again. I can oc the memory to the same speeds as I had before but my core won't go further than 580. If I go any further it goes straight back to 580

These drivers "broke" a couple times for me. Meaning they either didn't load on startup of windows or games. Or they crashed a game and broke. Back to 163.44...:frown: (8800GTS)

No they haven't. They have fixed it. It's just that the overclocking tools haven't gotten updated yet.

Are we going to have yet another vista vs xp thread? It history repeating itself. It was the same when xp first came out.

I don't know why people bother, maybe it's inexperience. Vista will inevitably become the gaming OS of choice, as did XP and so on. Move on or get left behind, it's a simple choice.

Call me stupid if you will, but I wonder, a XP user as I am, can I utilize the OC option to fully take advantage of the Forceware 163.67 as well?
