These drivers are no better than 163.44, they are 400 points slower in 3dmark06, and the alt-tab bug is still present.

I don't know if it is the new RivaTuner or the new driver, but I just can't overclock my card anymore, the settings won't stick.

Well the XFX 8800GTS xxx is OverClocked by XFX already...
I tried to underclock it with older drivers...without any success...I'm going to try it again right now...lets hope it works...

    Thats AWESOME!

That will allow us to get better framerates because even if we can't go any higher on our cores or mems, we can try upping the shader! Can't wait!

Must be something wrong with your system...

These drivers are really good, MoH runs smoother now.

Just installed them. I had the 163.44's before.

So far the Alt-Tab bug is fixed since 163.44's, and these new 163.67's don't have the bug either (at least not for me, sorry to hear that others still experience it). And my 3DMark06 score increased by 12 points over the 163.44's. They are keepers for me.

Oh and over-clocking with RivaTuner 2.03 works fine for me, I OC'ed my GTS to 612/918 without any problems and the settings stick after reboot.

Did you properly uninstall your old drivers?

My 3dmark score didn't go down at all, and gameplay is definitely improved.

These new drivers fixed my LCD's timings. I used to have to set my monitor as an "HDTV" and set a profile for 1440x900 or else it would stretch.

    Alright...I've got a theory...
My pc just crashed...after the restart I started playing Bioshock for more than an hour without any problems!
Then I started Lost Planet...and boom...after 3mins...grafik card driver recovered...
    hmmm...thats really strange!
And now when I start Bioshock it crashes immediatly as I mentioned before...
So...is it possible that its not this driver which forces my GPU drivers to stop responding but somehow Lost Planet screwing up my system?

i still haven't found a solution to this. no SLI, no overclock, lockes out the microsoft-8800-update... still no luck. :puke3:

so i still only play in XP on my dualboot-system. no problems at all in Xp whatsoever.

yes you can have triple buffering enabled but you can still change the prerender limit. To 2, 1 even 0 but 0 isn't really recommended.
