They should have at least tried to steal some stuff from UT2004.

This is just plain boring. It's 2007.

I have Cat 7.4 and the game runs fine, so you don't need 7.9 atall.

Played for about half hour and it's quite good, looks nice and runs very smooth. Not bad atall then :)

WOw demo works alot better in vista compared to beta (it works as sam as it did in xp, im using the latest drivers 163.67 nice job nvidia and ID), steady 30fps and up, its fun to play and imo looks alot better to.

i have high settings 1280x1024 good framerates, don't know the exact number, but it's very smooth and no lag. Much better than I was expecting. Not too bad of a game, i have no experience with BF2/unreal tournament though. We'll see how I like it once I get the hang of it.

Damn played the DEMO and it seems... awkward!
    1) Running is way too fast, and unbalanced.
    2) Ballistics is crap
    3) Vehicles "slide" over the ground --> physics engine blows. Not so noticeable with buggies etc, but try a tank, the way it slides over... rofl.
    4) Overall everything seems way "turbocharged", like a Quake2/3 deathmatch with increased speed settings. Totally surreal.

    5) I hate BF2, and even more i have BF2142 for the glitches, bugs and looong loading times, bad patching system, etc etc. BUT THIS REALLY BLOWS. So back to BF2 i guess.

For the menu, not for the game. There is no cap (up to 60) --> vsync off.

game feels like more of the memory hog then bf2/bf2142. I thought 2gigs would be enough but not for this un-optimized game. Most won't even remember quake???what? when crysis demo comes out.

For my performance on high settings I get 25-30 fps, maybe the devs got the game confused with making movies, because 30fps is the cap for movies.

the game is unplayable for me as well. Im only getting around 2fps in menu and in game. Im not sure what the deal is. Im using the latest beta drivers maybe thats what the problem is? I tried Lowest settings possible and the outcome is the same. Every thing else i own runs flawlessly. Bioshock actually seems to run a little better with these new beta drivers lol.

For all those getting 30fps cap --> install rivatuner --> go to openGL settings --> disable vsync there (always off) --> enjoy.

Im getting constant 50-60fps on my setup! Those with similar setup should get the same. Also reduce the mouse sensitivity a bit, helps to counter the "slidy" feel of the game

the game wont start for me, it keeps crashing with this error:

"Image '_default' was generated with internal format 0x83f0 but GL returned 0x83f2"

    wtf is that about?
