Hi. I just ordered a new laptop which came with an Intel pro wireless 3945abg network card. It has absolutely terrible connectivity issues with vista, and now that I downloaded the 11.x.x.x drivers It ceases to work at all. Can someone recommend a replacement Network Interface Card that is compatible with vista for me? A solution to fixing my current NIC problems would suffice as well, but I've pretty much given up on the current card. Thanks in advance, -Saucy
Not sure what to recomend, id try to fix the one you have. If you havn't already stumbled upon these resources check them out: http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/cs-010623.htm http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/pro3945abg/index.htm
Did the notebook come with Vista? If so, thats a system builder issue and should be fixed or returned. Still, my guess, and I don't run vista, but I'd recommend finding something, cheap, common, and made by intel (huuum, maybe not), linksys, or the like witrh "vista" somehwere on the box.
Yeah, it did. But the company (cyberpower  ) says that there is nothing they can do to fix the problem. And Its not worth the expense and hassle of sending the PC back to them.
