X-Fi full suite CD image for Vista (semi official) :)

It's a full X-Fi suite CD image thats fully compatible with Vista. I've tried it and it works without a single problem (unlike YouP-PAX). So for those who are screaming for Equalizer and similar features, check it out. It's worth it

YES YES YES and another double YES!!

This package is the real deal! It fully works with everything. Game Mode works and i can change speaker settings to 5.1 and other types without problems. Every program is included: Creative Mediasource 5, volumepanel, THX console, Soundfont manager, 3DMidi player.

Everything you had in XP is now fully operational in Vista. (I tried it with Vista Ultimate 32)

You still need ALchemy for EAX though, but that's no problem.

Why no one uses 7-zip (Ultra preset) for so big stuff? After compressing it, it was only 389MB in size... We all know that FileFront is slow and that not all of us have super ultra fast lines (1Mbit is decent but far from "very" fast, some have even slower lines). And almost 300MB less data to transfer isn't so bad idea...

 

But some people also hate using Bittorrent. I didn't upload it to FileFront, but it's still an alternative to BT for some.

 

DO NOT INSTALL THE DRIVER FROM THIS CD. get the newer driver from the creative site and install the apps from the cd. the driver on this cd still has the old youpax problems that make the sound buzz, static and simply fool around. despite the fact that with the youpax drivers/software half the card wasnt working anyway big HOAH at youpax to have supplied us with working stuff while creative couldnt even get a simply driver up. -.-

 

Just leave the AutoUpdater to do the job doh...

Not exactly. Some stuff is missing. Mostly bunch of useless apps you'd never need anyway.

 

It has everything you'll need or want, it, plus the latest core drivers finally got me running in Vista.

 

i install it and wow, i miss the EQ and not only that, the Volume Control pannel. no more going to Audio everytime i go to gamemode. not only that, THX sound i am getting now.

 

install the drivers from the site and isntall the software from the cd. you will have everything including the volpanel.

 

yeah i miss these program since i use it for xp alot. my main programs are THX, Volume Control Panel and EQ in the Volume Control Panel.

 

Install the driver CD with everything like you used to in XP, webupdate and you're done.

This package is perfect. Works much better than YouP-Pax.

 

this is great , i wonder what creative have to say about this , if it is that good i wonder why it isnt available to download from the creative web site

 

The CD is leaked. That's why and we're talking about Creative...... taking their time updating/releasing drivers.
