Does the beta version control the fan speed of both cards in crossfire mode?

    Sorry about that.

    Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
    Shuttle AV49V/N
    2.0 GHz Celeron
    512 MB RAM
Radeon x700 Pro 256MB AGP with Cat. 7.4 drivers.
DirectX 10 with April 2007 DLLs

Anyway, ATT is giving File access denied. messages across the screen and piling up in the bottom right corner. I'm using a protected Admin account when I see this, but when I run ATT with run as admin it works fine. EDIT: The previous version worked fine without admin rights.

What is it? ATT needs no administrative rights, only installation procedure and "low level driver" util. Can you give me more info which files affected? Just the name.

A Protected Administrator (MS named it and it stuck with me) is a Administrator account that uses UAC in which it elevates permissions for the application to use administrative rights.
Now then, the install runs fine, it's the running of ATT itself which brings the problem. I run ATT normally (no admin rights) and after a while, "File access denied." error boxes start popping up every second or two. Now that I think about it, it could be trying to write to a log file in that which is now somehow admin restricted.

EDIT: Found the file with Process Monitor, and I wasn't surprised at it. It was the "hwmon.log" since I set ATT to log my Environment Temperatures. And I was able to solve that problem by setting the file's permissions to allow writing and modifying for Users.

Hmmm. Intresting information. I will change code to avoid this error! In Vista application should'nt write to Programs folder.

Im getting these weird blackscreen lockups in D3D games when having ATT (both the stable and beta) installed, works fine with the ati CCC. Its like the screen locks up and a few seconds later the monitor turns blank. Have to reboot.

This is with 7.3 and 7.4 drivers only, 7.2 and below I havent encountered this issue. Anyone else suffered from this and/or know any solutions or whats causing it?

    Windows XP (32bit)
    Asrock 939DualSata2
    AMD +3200 (2.4ghz)
    2gb DDR400 (4x512)
    Radeon X800 XT PE (agp)

Just curious if there is an ETA on when the AVIVO colors will be supported for DVI monitors? Thanks.

I have no such issues in WinXP and Vista. So I have no idea whats wrong in your system. May be its time to clean up your system? :)
