I've read where people were experiencing issues with Xfire. Like serious performance problems causing major FPS drops and poor performance. I'm a little leary of downloading it honestly. Have you guys experienced anything like that?
5 PM in CDT is 2200 in UTC GMT. So of course we won't be actually doing this at 5 PM since we'll have people at work, but I'm thinking 8 PM CDT would be good so that would be 0100 UTC GMT. This is going to be early in the morning for you, isn't it? Fine by me. I just don't see myself ever getting into that game either.
I'll be on xfire: n0tzfrag5418. IMO Xfire is great. It only lags when your using in game chat, and who cares becasue when your typing you dont need 1000FPS .

I just forgot something ..we will have to play on Sat because spiderman 3 starts tommorrow and there is noway im missing that.
why you dont need it there nothing you cant play wait for the quads skip the core 2 duo's you wont need them save the money thats what Im doing.with that overclock everything will be playable without a problem with a decent videocard. with the extra time saving you could kill it with a quad core soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
True, i wont be able to get yet because i need to get a job soon, damn my GCSE's. But for the timebeing i think ill get a decent cooler and push more.
I am planing the same thing. I will skip the C2D and simply move to Quad. So is the game on Saturday now? What time?
Eh, I don't know just yet. This changes everything. We might still do this tonight if there's enough interest. I want to see Spiderman 3 as well, but I don't know if I'll see it tonight or not. Basically, everyone chime in and let me know if you're still willing to play tonight. If so, I can set something up here, if not, we'll reschedule.
