    Nothing much changed on my Laptop besides the new wallpaper which is heavily modded. Also using Object Dock.......quite handy and now it uses far less resources then a year ago.

    Basic windows theme.

    Since I've now got 2GB ram I will install Vista, seeing as when I run STALKER it uses 75% (1.5GB) of ram (no pagefile) when running max settings, it means I have an extra 500mb ram (not including pagefile) which can go into running Vista. And if thats not enough a guy is selling another 2GB of ram (the same stuff I have) so I will just go 4GB.

    It's enough, but just barely. Vista + Stalker when I had 2GB was around 1.8GB. Now that I got 4GB, it's 2.1GB. Go figure.

    Yeah thats the thing, I don't want to upgrade to 4GB on DDR1/A64 since its a dying platform.

    Meh, I could always just "try" Vista and if I don't like how it goes I will just go back to XP

    Well mine is a compilation of 4 pictures merged and heavily modified on photoshop. If you want the wallpaper i will send it to you. (mind the size is 1680x1050)

    ObjectDock.....m8.....it has really been improved since i tried it a year ago. Now it runs better and has no bugs that i have encountered with the old version i used. Plus it takes far less resources than before.

    OK I know its not windows, but this is my first linux attempt after alot off trouble.
    Now I've got the nicest distro ever, Uberyl Beta, based on Ubuntu, I have finaly got Beryl with snow and the kiba-dock working..
