Haven't tried yet but since I am facing the same issue you might want to try the latest 2.9772 NGO drivers. They work well for me although I do not notice a change in performance compared to the 91.37.

I gave the 101.02's a shot on my 7800 GS. After encountering some frame rate issues on IL-2 and a few other sim-type games, I also went to the NGO 2.9772's. I agree with Indian that these are very good drivers but that there is no discernible performance or IQ increase from the 91.37/.38 to the 2.9772.

I found what I think is the first graphical bug in these drivers.

In oblivion, if I draw my bow and look towards in oblivion gate, it'll be rendered incorrectly.

Will try running driver cleaner and do a reinstall of the driver again to see if it fixes said issue.

Does anyone know if Coolbits 2.0 works OK with these drivers? When I get my rig up and running with my 7600 GT, I plan on using these latest drivers and the Classic Control Panel, so I hope Coolbits works fine. Thanks to anyone who can answer my question.

Tried them again, this time with custom drivers. Honestly, this is one of the fastest drivers I've seen since the 87.08s

Driving the XFX 7800GS EE with 101.02

As I always had to use the NGO drivers because I am suffering from the "cold bug" (N70 core), I notice that these drivers work as good as the NGO drivers i.e. no black screens etc.

Since I tend to run my board at 456/1370 I do not notice a big change in performance compared to NGO's 2.9779.

One thing that bothers my is that using ntune to OC my card it does "remember" the changed clockspeeds after re-boot.
Someone figured out which regkey to set/change?

Gained 150 points in 3dMark06 (10914) over 97.92. Everything runs a lil smoother. Look more stable too. Keepers for now.

I have tried both 100.95 and 101.02 drivers but everytime I try to open up the control panel I get this error:-

'NVIDIA Control Panel Application, 1.2.1.36 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'

    Does anybody now why?

Installed, got a big fps boost from 97.94 and no more stuttering in Titan Quest nor City of Heroes.

    Using XP

Quicktime has issues playing trailers within the browser for some reason. All corrupted and stuff. Anyone else experiencing this?

Do I need a modded inf to use this release with a 7600GS?

I'll try these drivers-hopefully they'll be better than the 93.71 I was using before.

I seem to have the same problem I had with the latest Vista drivers and my Geforce 7900GS card. When I try to access the Control Panel my screen goes all out of whack for a second before displaying the Control Panel. I found a set off softpedia (97.73) that seem to work the best so far for my card.
