NEW Forceware 101.02 XP

A new NVIDIA ForceWare driver is out and it's revision build Forceware 101.02 XP making it the newest set to date. These drivers are supposed to be for the upcoming GeForce 8600 & 8500. We however included a modification so that the driver will now work with pretty much any NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. The first impressions seem to be good judging from the response in our forums.

We have virus and pest checked the archive before placing it on our servers, it's 100% clean. Furthermore we recompressed the binaries and have been able to get the 65 MB file-size down towards 37 MB.

Will these drivers work with an 8800 series?

 

Seems the inf is for 86 & 8500 only, as was the previous 100 series. So you will need to mod the inf to work with other cards.

 

Guess i'll give these a try, I couldn't get the 100.95's control panel to work but otherwise they were alrite

 

At least Something is happening.

 

Any significant improvements?
I don't want to install these to find out that they are worse than 97,92 Then I'll just wait for the next official release. Whenever that may be :\

 

Downloading now. I have an 8800 GTX ACS3, so I'll let you know how good they are. Keep in mind that I personally loved the 100.95's though. (First driver I had that gave me no problems)

Well these work great for me, no real increases in fps or anything but the control panel works again AND ntune finally works for some reason

 

Do these still have the option for the "Classic Control Panel?" for 7XXX users?

 

installed no problem, used synagents inf. css and guildwars play nice, IQ good, so far these are really nice drivers
