theres one problem with those rotary engine mazdas.. engine problem = write-off bleh should have edited post above.. /slaps self and egorn5.. buy some lowering springs.. will make those wheels look alot better..
I'm not a fan of huge wheels...you dont see many high performance cars with those stupidly low profile tyres. TVR technically aren't a British company any more (), so I wonder who the biggest true british car maker is now? I'd imagine it's someone like Morgan...maybe even Caterham? I have to say I love the cars that are produced over here...especially the more niche market cars. Stuff like this: One day... Edit: Keep in mind the Civic was posted over a year ago It's Land Rover based. In the same way as most Sevens are Sierra based...but this clearly isn't a ford sierra
yeah would love to have it lowered, however you don't live where I do.Man we have road humps/speed restrictions on EVERY fu**in street!lol If I had my car lowered it would get mashed up big time. I like it the way it is.Its fast , still handles well (have some top grade Goodyear Eagle F1 Tyres onit)
Wankel rotary engines can easily develop leaks and have higher emissions than traditional four strokes. They have a very high power to weight ratio though.
Uhm, no. For snows you should have the thinest narrowest tire you can get. More weight per inch of contact patch is good because it breaks through snow and grips ice better. A bigger tire "floats" over snow, which can be an advatage in really deap snow, but in anything else it will suck. On water, a wider tire ecourages hydroplaing The only place a wider tire helps is on dry pavement Check out the tires on this: http://mustangvideo.vidiac.com/video/bb046fee-a955-4311-88a9-98d3016619c2.htm
<yeah but it really doesn't snow often in this part of England, and the widest, and lowest profile tyres are the best for handling.
Here is a pic of my car... Not the best, but I will try to find a better shot... Put on a set of cheep coilovers, I want to replace with some eibach springs. Wheels and TRD kit were aftermarket. Till I get that Delorean , this is my "project" car. What I would really love, is to get ahold of a xrs matrix engine and drop it in my corolla. They use the same block, but the xrs engine has celica heads. I think its a 210hp engine, as opposed to the 120hp engine mine has now...
"Kuhmo KW11 I*Zen Stud (195/60 R 15) To most of the testers, Kuhmo stands as one of the brands to buy if you want the best Autocross or Road Race tire for “stock” class racing. (This is not stock-car racing, in which the cars are anything but stock, but instead it is a class where the cars are essentially as they came from the dealer..) The concept of a Kuhmo tire as something to run in the winter is a bit foreign to most of us, but the looks of this tire say that it might be a strong contender." 195/60 R 15.. 195 is wide for a 15" <-- relatively small wheel also.. no tyre will grip on ice without studs# http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebrand=Bridgestone&tiremodel=Blizzak+WS-50+Winterbiter also the XRS corolla engine is 170-180bhp.. slightly less tuned than the celica engine.. just drop a celica gt4 turbo engine in it
3rd Generation (260 HP) 1994-99 ST205 (Celica GT4) <-- that one oh and egorn5.. by the way you said "we have speed bumps in every f'in street" im guessing youre english too? ive mashed many a car on speed bumps =<
http://www.autoblog.com/2006/07/21/barabus-tkr-0-60-mph-in-1-67-secs-270-mph-top-speed/ the ssc has a higher top speed.. but id rather have the 0-60 =P
my car so far on axle stands.. its alot lower than that really.. and only 15's on it atm.. 16's in shed just used the 15s for transporting.. all work done by me, my dad and a bit of welding by a family friend in a back garden with no fancy tools alot of work been done to it.. will be running again tomorrow.. 1st person to guess what car it is gets a cookie! the whole thing has cost less than £1000 i guess too edit: roffles.. resizing -> resized.. my car no longer breaks the forum
the tailpipe looks good from a "normal" angle ^_^ and there will be a complete new twin exit system on it soon.. this one is only on there for MOT purposes xD
