Find the control for windows in the "Dashboard" Menu and click it with right mouse button, which clears the binding to W, then you can reassign the key to whatever you want.

 

news update: Atari ate my TDU-Account!

Well whaddayaknow i logged in to TDU today and wanted to take my lambo out for a spin, but the game crashed when i clicked on "list" in the garage menu.
After logging back in i couldn't access the said button anymore.
After inspecting the GPS map i realized my houses were gone, except the one i started in, and so were the cars that i bought after buying house no. 2. great.

Guess what, all game progress i made the last few days is also gone.

Sweet. Days of racing for nothing. :behead:

I'm really starting to think about selling my PC parts and all the games to some unlucky individual on ebay and getting an XBOX360.
This is like the 4th game in a row that is absolute bananaware.

 

Anyway you should buy HDTV for a good image quality(If you dont have it) for XBOX360:smoke:

 

Thanks to you guys who answered my gamepad questions. Once I get everything set up with my new motherboard I'm gonna get started on this game. Just got my DS3 today so now I can really push my e6400, see how nice I can run this game

 

That's disappointing to me too! What's also a bit annoying is that they have made the SLR use paddle shifting instead of the real auto, same problem with the Murcielago... Paddle shifting instead of proper manual. But meh, I can live with that!

 

i really enjoy this game, one thing pisses me off morre than anything else:
how the cop pronounces Caterham, - it's not catter ham, its cay ter ram.
the csr 260 is amazing, quick as **** for the supermodel sprints.

 

anyone tried yet that hardcore mode?(u get it in champion level) i don't know if it's anymore realistic but driving my ascari kz1 properly in that mode is almost impossible, like turning is so slooow to response.

x-speed: kinda like when you try to test drive the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve with the driving assistance off? god that thing's a pain to drive even with an Xbox controller. every time it shifts, tires spin... and if you're turning.... kiss the road goodbye. lol.

and if anyone has a good savegame with most, if not all cars unlocked.... i'd kinda like one. found a save game with loads of money and lots of cars, but none of which are unlocked.

 

as Weesni said earlier: Also sound is messed up with x-fi and audigy, you must disable crystalizer, use bass boost with 1db/10hz etc. until the oversteering bass has gone and it sounds strange still...

and changing your sound accelerater level in directx setting(?) could help too if i remember correctly.

 

well i haven't tested that chrysler so i don't know if it's any similar to it
only big difference i see in hardcore mode with my ascari is that it wont't turn like i'm used to, i have to press left/right button in my gamepad so much that my finger hurts

edit: oohh balance is changed so now u can flip your card upside down very easily.

 

i mean i dont get sound at all
i get it at the beginning but then it disapperars

you are not only one having that problem.
this has fixed it for some ppl:

reduce sound card Hardware acceleration in dxdiag.

 

i love this freakin game! never thought i would say that about an arcade racer!

1600x1200 4xTAA SS + Gamma Correct AA, 16xAF, max ingame settings with HDR on.

im only getting 30-50+ fps, but it runs very smooth even at 30 fps ...

i see alot of you are having fps issues. i did to untill i removed my MS FF wheel. seems theres some serious controller issues! should be fixed up with a patch soon i hope.

over at NVNews they started a ingame club. someone hear at Guru should start one. i would but i joined the NVNews one. then we could get some challenges going?

 

Can someone with a 180 degree wheel who is comfortable with how their cars drive post their wheel settings? I can't seem to get em right.

 

could anyone who has progressed in the game pretty far please add a savegame somehow? would like to try out some of the better/faster cars without just test driving them over and over.

 

go to one of the offline races that pay 7000 a pop. thats what i did and now i own a Ford GT 177,000 and a Viper RT10 that was 85,000. oh, and my little Saturn that made me all my money ...

 

nah just keep on playing until u get to the point where u get 40-75k from races and then play them over and over again i got now 14 different cars+one bike and still 3million in cash

 

what do you meen by "keep playing" exactly? online, offline?

 

online or offline it doesn't matter, i just meant that keep playing so u go higher in levels and get new races to drive.
