It weird how you said that...because the gamecube is more powerful than the PS2, and it a fact the gamecube version of RE4 looks better than the PS2 version....:)

what have you been eating? seriously it looks nothing like the gc version - no lighting, textures seem last century. im amazed they released such a **** port. but then again they did it with dmc3 - so im not that surprised.

And with Onimusha too. I remember hearing that all three of those games (Onimusha, DMC 3, and RE 4) were getting ported to PCs and at the time I was very excited since I didn't have a PS2. Next time I hear of ports to the PC, I'll try not to get as excited

SourceNext, the same folks who ported Onimusha 3 and DMC3 is also one behind RE4 port (so i guess you cant blame Ubisoft,EA or Capcom). And according to the past two games, they released patches to enable the missing graphical effects from both games, so there's a chance that it will also be done in RE4 PC.

yeah, the 2 patches for DMC3 only brought a couple of bloom and shadows, i still dont see the depth of field effect (and agni and rudra seemd dull looking when patched)
