Hmm I dunno if its real or not...where is the 8600 Ultra??? Its not on the list...therefore I dont know if i can believe this. Also the 8600 Ultra is supposed to be around 180-200 bucks...but they have the 8600GT listed as such instead. I think the chart is a huge guess not accurate...at least imo.

Hmmm, I wdon't think I will upgrade to the 8900gtx where I could get similar performace by just overclocking my own card without missing too much.

Why? 100% of all games at the moment are DirectX 9. And there are only a few titles that gamers are waiting for.

UT3 is directx 9, ET:QW is directx 9. So why should I wait for DirectX 10 games :)

Or voltmod your 8800GTS and change the cooler. I hope you know that the memory is able to go as high as 2000Mhz with better cooling. ;)

Much cheaper then upgrading to a 8900 card, unless you can sell your card for a good price.

That lineup looks very realistic. I never thought the 8600 series would have a chance at 256 bit. It's just too soon to include even the midrange with that interface, as it would give the high end cards a run for their money.

I wonder if the 8900GS would be faster than the 8800GTS 320 MB. Would be interesting to see if these specs are indeed what Nvidia releases.

Nah cuz the 8600 Ultra is 512MB....and its been proven to exist. Kinda why this chart throws me off.

if they really are going to go with 768MB memory on the 8900gtx, the amd/ati r600 will have a definite marketing advantage with its 1GB. Even if performance is the same, people will still go to the 1GB card because 1GB sounds more powerfull that 768MB.

I deem this propaganda until the entire line has been launched!

And what the crap is taking them so long, anyways?
