I just placed an order on this card for € 402:

There is not a single review available, but do you guys think that this card is very close to 8800GTX performance, or not?

I was planning on buying the 8600 Ultra, but I won a cellphone and by selling that cellphone, my budget got a little boost :ying:

the 8800GTS and 8800GTX got reviewed together here on guru3d. The benchmarks they ran suggested that the GTS was around 25% slower on performance than the GTX. That may sound a lot, but really when you put it into context, the GTS is still an awesome card. It will play anything you can throw at it at decent resolutions for a good couple of years. Plus it's a cheap (ish) ticket to DX10!

that card is actually 550/1600 not 550/1300. 1300mhz is the shader clock speed ;)

I think I payed a good price for an OC card. The normal GTS costs € 485 in the local shops, now I pay € 402 for an OC version.

    I love USA prices! :)

510$. It costs a lot of money to send it to the other side of the world.
But still, cheaper then buying it in my own country...
