Vista drivers 100.59 out now

I had linked the codec pack for vista in the other thread......xvid, divx, quicktime....everything you need.

 

Now if only we could find a way to force SLi on 6/7 GeForce cards I would be happy.

 

does this drivers give same frames as XP ones? because older was horrible in games...

 

Ok that's it. There is no way to get a picture with these drivers on my garbage. Maybe if i remove one of my video cards.. Or maybe if i had a DVI cable.. I heard that sometimes people can't get the analogue plug to work with specific drivers versions on some pc's... anyway back to 100.54

 

78905GX2 still has one cpu disabled.

did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers?

ut2004 still runs like crap with these.

 

Which video player are you using?

I was also getting blank videos so i downloaded cccp
http://www.cccp-project.net/ combined community codec pack.

It made video show up again in windows media player. In bsplayer they still didnt.

However in bsplayer try: right click on the player, select 'option' and go into 'preferences'
Under the 'video' tab there should be an option that says "video rendering"
Click on that and look for the line that says "rendering mode"

I changed mine to VMR9 renderless. Videos appear to be working in bsplayer for me now. Though i didnt try any other render methods so they might also work.

Odd. Im using a evga 7800gs oc and it runs fear fine with these latest drivers. Did you use 32 or 64 bit. The 32bit drivers worked for me.






Anyway, i had a question. Are there any 100.00 series forcware drivers that let me overclock with riva tuner? When i launch it up it doesnt give me the options to do it anymore
Any idea how i could go about doing it then?


Also. I get a strange artifacting with certain programs that dont agree with vista. Say i launch up bf2142. On my secondary monitor ill get black blocks all over though the main screen is fine and the game seems to run ok. Exit the game and the blocks dissapear. Ive tried taking a screeny of it, but the blocks dont show up in the pic. So im assuming its a software related issue.

It also does it when i launch paintshop pro x. Though on the main screen rather than the secondary. Anyone else experience similar?

 

hi maybe its just me but when i try to install the driver after clicking yes install driver the screen goes blank with green up the top yes i got sli 7600 gt cards but that shouldnt effect the install of the driver surly? im using vista 32 bit home premium edition i went bk to 54 driver and no probs so its either a bug or something

 

I've had great increases in vista with these drivers and Ut2004 works great. However, I still can't OC

i think nvidia is finally gettin drivers out that work ok, these new ones solved my screen prob with the white lines for the most part. bf2142 works decent but i do get this black screen everynow and then. i think once the official ones come out we will see a whole lot better performance in our games

 

these drivers as well as 100.54 won't retain the gamma and digital vibrance settings i set after a restart... does anybody else have this problem?

I can't do a custom resolution for my hdtv with these things. I want to run at 1808*1004

 

refreshrate 60+Hz?

Does the refresh rate work normal already (below 60Hz) with games (GTA3+, Quake III/IV)? If not, how can I fix it?

In Quake III I can add to config file or shortcut "+set r_displayrefresh 100", but not working with Q4. In Grand Theft Auto I have 60Hz all the time. RefreshLock doesnt work, RefreshRateFix also.

GF6600GT, CRT monitor. In windows 100Hz 1024x768.

Damn these drivers work really badly for my BFG 7800 gtx

I removed the old 100.54 (which worked ok but didnt like AA )

installed and restarted pc
seemed laggy in windows

ran Dod source

Still same issues but now every 3 seconds it freezes for a sec .

I dont get how Ati can have a decent supported offical driver and nvida feeding us this beta crap..

going back to 100.54 for the moment
