damn.. its comin' over here to buffalo! I was outside for a smoke and I realized how cold it had gotten, it was 40ish~ earlier, now its like 17, yikes. My dumb blond gal friend said something about an "icicle" storm, but I didn't believe her..

Our favorite psudo-scientists and the man who would be president to name a few. I say if it's still snowing, we're not polluting enough. I'm buying a Humvee. :p

We didn't get as much snow as I thought we would but we're getting heavy freezing rain. Something about a warm southern air mass meeting arctic air. So to make matters worse, it's not only very cold, but it's damp and icy too. I'm staying home today. Too dangerous to try and get to classes. The lazy bums haven't even plowed the roads yet.

I had no power over the weekend. Inside our house, it dropped down to 40 degrees F for that past two nights. I wore sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt to bed, laid under two layers of comforter sheets, and was still freezing. Power came back on this morning, right before I went to work.

    I haven't shaved since friday.

You've been lucky on the east. Vancouver has been very strange this year. In a matter of weeks, we went from a water conservation warning at the end of summer to a couple of rain storms that resulted in a boil water advisory. Then we had a number of wind storms that toppled about 3000 trees in Stanley Park and we've had 3-4 snowfalls that normally doesn't come until January. I miss our warm rainy winters... lol

no, it's central heating. we just replaced the cercut breaker and the thing kicked on but when the blower started the motor seamed to be stugling to turn it over, so... I'm guesing the motor burned out.

BTW my dad was an electrition on a nukeler submarine some years ago so he knows what he's doing.

    I hope.
