april already?...damn...next upgrade to pc was going to be a new monitor...guess i will have to buy 8800...because i want dx10..i just hope 8800 to run great on dx10..not like fx5200 lol.

Damn, Incrysis must be swamped, I can't get a download to start.

It's probably going to be a bit later than April, I've been reading Q3 2007. I honestly don't think that they want to release it any earlier due to hardware requirements. This game is going to demand every last ounce of PC horsepower that can be had and the most people don't have systems that measure up. I'm going to hold off on upgrading my system until I get a hard release date and then go nuts. I'm talking SLI or Crossfire, quad-core, the whole shebang. I think that people who are upgrading now for Crysis are going to be mighty pissed off when it finally does release and their setup can only run it at medium settings.

This is, of course, all conjecture on my part but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if I'm right.

Maybe, but 7800gtx is mid range already. 7900gtx/x1900xtx/7950gx2 and x1950xtx are high end dx9 cards. Whatever, I don't care, I know it won't run smoothly even on my gpu.

well by the time crysis is out , i would have gone quad-core and have the fastest 8XXX card out at that present time , i want to play this game with everything max , i want vista aswell , but we will see , ive allready started tio buy parts for my core duo rig , the mobo is on its way as we speak

 

Thanks a bunch Vinnie. Downloading now. I "encourage" my wife to watch every one of these videos so that when I want to break out the Visa sometime down the road and drain it, she'll understand why. She's a gamer also so that helps.

I hope my system max this thing out,at least at 2xAA =/,anyway i'll get something new when the next nvidia chip get out,better than today's 8800 i mean.

 

i wonder how it would perform on my rig? I love my 6800 ultra and dont want to let go too easily
