Does anyone know what to add to the inf to add 1440x900 support?

Yes, the lack of 1440x900 is killing me. For a moment i thought my monitor was freaking out or something.

I wonder why I cannot install this driver on my system. I'm running Vista RTM on a Dell Inspiron 9400 with a GeForce Go 7800 256MB. Isn't this driver suitable for mobile GPU's?

I get the error that no suitable hardware can be found. :S I tried swapping the inf file but can't succeed towards a successful install.

    Hi there,

I haven't installed this particular drivers yet (still running the driver on the NVidia site), but COD2 works for me without issues, although left to Vista it does take long to load up. What I did is to get it to work like it did on x64 is to set it to run in compatibility mode Windows XP SP 2. I know that defeats the object of running it in 100% Vista mode, but at least you can run it in Vista like you were used too. Close at least.

I'm sure it will works for other games too, although when I tried this on BF2142 it didn't pick up my game DVD anymore, but worked gain when I set it back to normal mode.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

Anyone figured out how to customize the display resolutions on these drivers yet? I've been running the RC1 drivers for ages it seems now because they're the only ones that have my 1440x900. I'd sure like to give some of these newer drivers a try but I don't think I can suffer with non-native resolutions :(

They're not all too terribly bad. I've seen a bump in frame rates along with all of my rendering issues being solved with this release. The only real problem I'm having is with the resolutions. Why nV decided to take out the ws res's is beyond me, retards I say. And hopefully we will get a control panel worth more than 2 cents here pretty soon, the current control panel is absolutely weaktastic.

No problems so far with these drivers. They seem to be running better than the previous ones.

They didn't take the widescreen resolutions out. Vist even set itself to 1680x1050 on the first boot and I have had no problem whatsoever with resolutions. I only heard 1440x900 doesn't work, but that is one resolution, not all of them.

Ok then why take out one of the most popular wide screen res's? Still retards...
