Have i lost my fave game forever ?????

Help !
To my abject horror I have noticed on the activision site that call of duty 3
is only listed for console gamers !
How can this be ?
How can they abandon us pc gamers ?

Someone tell me i'm wrong please.

they thought i'd get a console to buy their game but they're soooo wrong. i'll have Crysis soon BBWWWAHAHAHAHAHA DIE!

 

I am gutted. What a stupid thing to do, they go up to COD2 and then drop us. I would hit one of the codemasters staff members if I could.

 

Actually wait, now I see it is for PC *confused*.

 

We here in PC Land are getting fewer and fewer scraps from the game developers table every year.

 

Maybe if we start a thread and get cod gamers to express there distress
we could get them to change their minds ?

first, mass effect was announced as an xbox 360 exclusive. Now this fiasco.

At least COD3 has been confirmed for the PC.

 

I thought Call of Duty 3 is not made by the same guys who made Call of Duty one and two. Call of Duty 3 is made by Treyarch. Games made by Treyarch are Ultimate Spiderman, The Spiderman the movies series, Minority Report, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, which is an average Call of Duty conversion for the Consoles. Some Treyarch games are okay, but some are plain bad. So it is not a big deal that Treyarch is not making a Call of Duty for the PC.

I was hoping that the original team of the Call of Duty series, Infinity Ward is making a Call of Duty for the PC or even better a new series of WWII First Person Shooter, which will beat the Treyarch CoD in every way, sense etc.

 

I'm not bothered either way. COD was very good in it day, the expansion was absolute rubbish, COD2 was more of the same linear, predictable, shoot-em-up stuff. I've had it with COD, it's become boring. Crysis will dump on COD3 from a great height, freedom of movement, I like it.

I have loved COD 1 and 2, that is the type of game i like and would love to see COD 3 (prefeably by Infinity Ward) hit the PC sooner rather than later.
I also love half life , prey, fear, moh, gtr, IL2, freespace.
So we all have our fave games. mine and a lot of other peoples is COD.

 

PS3 is supposed to support mouse and keyboard controls so maybe you might still be able to play it the same as a PC.

 

Been into EB Games lately? They used to have a whole wall of PC games, now they only have very few titles on a small rack in the back corner of their stores.
I hate EB anyway but still...

 

what I find hilariously ironic is that the developers/game makers use PCs to make console games.

 

I fear the trend pointed out at EB is also happening in most stores in the uk !
How much of that is down to internet sales i don't know but it is worrying
It would seem PC'S are being pushed towards home entertainment and games are not seen as part of that, so consoles will eventually rule, which as already pointed out if it wasn't for the PC they could not make their games !
