Hi!
I just wondering if someone has 6800 Ultra 512MB PCI-e card....
Cause I just got one...didnt even try it yet...
I tried to find any specs on the net but didnt find much....
Does anyone knows are any differences between 256mb version and 512mb one? except memory amount of course....

no difference....there was just a comparison in ati section on x850 xt pe 256meg vs 512 version...no difference....others said it was cuz its not 512bit memory instead its 256 bit

Well honestly... I dont believe you my friend. ATi just started releasing info and pics of its 512mb card and Nvidia hasn't said much except, they are working on it. Unless you can get some pictures, won't believe you

Sorry for the picture, just truing to insall windows on this system right now...dont want to interrupt it.....Can make more pics later...But well..I guess all you need to see is memory chips on the other side of the card (256mb version has chips on other side only....)

I didnt believed it myself at first when I got it...
BTW memory clocked at 1200MHz.....Not sure about GPU yet...need to check with rivatuner or smthng....

why get a 512mb card this generation? even with insanely high resolutions and aa and af 256mb is more than enough.
