Hey is it normal to have non-movable files even after a defragmentation as indicated by a small green bar( after clicking on analyze)

and what are these files anyways

These are probably files that were in use at the time of the defrag.

Its normal.

Non movable files may also include:

SP1 backup files
Pagefile
Previous Windows Installation backup files (if you upgraded from an older OS)

Hi

I think its normally the Page file , when u defrag the page file does not get defraged , the best way is to disable the page file then reboot then run the windows defrag then reanable the page file then reboot .
