i think its verry good for your card but 3dmark01 is also cpu sensitive so if you have a much faster cpu you will have more points but in 3dmark03 the cpu almost doesn't change the score

Your problem is 53.03..
After 44.67, most "optimizations" for 3DMark2001 were removed. That's why your score looks so low. The drivers you're using don't cheat.. In 2k1 at least..

Either 43.45 or 44.67 will give you higher 2k1 scores, likely more than 1200 or so points more that you're getting now, since they are both "optimized" for that partictular benchmark.

I will try the 44.67.

Another question:

I think I buy the Radeon 9800 Pro next week. I`m running on a 300W PS, will it be stable with that card?

And do I need to format my system to get better results with that card?

Possibly. I've seen setups running 9800pro's on 300W psus..
It depends on how much other hardware you're running as well.
But the only way to know for sure is to try.

Not really.
I've switched cards a few times recently, from a Ti4600 to a 9800pro, and back again, without any noticable performance loss from driver remnants.. So, it's not necessary, as long as the previous cards drivers are removed before installing the new card..

Although, others will likely tell you different...
