I ran codbench and all was well but i didnt read the directions so good about switching back to original config ini.So i used the cod bench config to play the game and to my surprise im getting 75 to 100 fps more than i was getting before with everything maxed!I was getting between 90 and 140 fps,now im getting 120 -230 fps.And the graphics even look better now than they did before with same settings on original config?

CoDBench increases CoD performance. I didn't know I had that power (would be sweet though).

It's because by default CoD has a framlimiter on. I think it's defaulted to 80 fps max, maybe 75 (can't remember). The purpose is supposedly to help smooth out gameplay or something ... (?)

Anyway, all the CoDBench script files change it to a max fps of "1000" so there's no risk of the frame limiter lowering a score.

If you restore your own config file, you can open it with Wordpad (not Notepad) and find the line:

seta com_maxfps "xxx"

You can change that to whatever you want.
