Just bought this card, getting it in the mail today. I have a geforce 4 ti-4600 in my computer now, should I format my computer before using this Ultra? Like do a clean format, and reinstall everything with the latest detonators? Should I use the drivers from Gainwards website? Or the dets from Nvidia. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Format is unnecessary. I would use the nvidia driver with driver cleaner. With your chipset some have had to install the chipset drivers a second time. You have a good power supply?

i THINK they'res a sticky of this in this thread. but yeah/... you don't actually NEED IT, but just for precautions is good ^^ |

Yeah I have a good Antec Power supply. Came with my Antec case think its 400 watts. I don't have much of anything I really need on my conmputer so I may just format and start from square 1.
