Default converting DOC to JPG? (not other way around) - 12-03-2003, 03:28 | posts: n/a

Afternoon, not sure if i put this in the right forum thread, but meh...

I was wondering if there is any way to convert a word document to a jpeg picture?

the scenario is that I have 50 documents made by individual students, and the printing service need it as one document, with x amount of pages.

copying the documents to one does seem to start playing silly buggers with the text boxes and pictures (moving allover the place, in incorrect places, etc)

so i thought perhaps converting the document as a jpeg (a4 size) and then inserting it into publisher as a picture, then insert page, repeat.

i could take a screendump but the admin restrictions are set so that i can't access control panel (to change the resolution size to take a snapshot)

PLEASE somebody help me out there, asap

oh by the way, its windows 2000, word 2002 and publisher 2002

Cheers!

If you print to file with some printers (fool around esp with apple laser writers), you can save in .ps form which can be opened with many graphics editors, save to jpg.
