you don't want to spend time testing ?
but you want unwinder to spend time giving you an answer ?

Given that it works with the 52.16's, I'm pretty sure that it will work with the 52.70's.
However, the newer drivers really only improve the FX series of cards. Most Ti users would tell you to stay with the 45.23's. Still, try the new ones and if they work for you, sweet!

hm- i also think it's better, when some more drivers come out, so Unwinder will have to do all the work ( antiprotections and stuff ) only once per 3 or 4 driver sets. If he does it with every driver set, then the next will have again different protection, so why should he tripple or quad his work? Give that man some air to breathe!

hm i used 52.16 with my 5900 fx 128 and it markedly improved performance, but maya crashed after using it for a minute.
am i doing something wrong? i'm gonna try some other 5x.xx dets too.
EDIT: well i looked through that insanely long thread about fx modding and clearly the 5x.xx dets don't work with fx cards. so nevermind.

I switched to 52.70 2 days ago on a Geforce 4 Ti 4400 and all I can say is that I´m ipressed. Bluefire, you mentioned before that OpenGL performance is low on 52.70, I can´t agree to that. I´m running Inventor R6 and it´s smooth close to my softquadro4 41.09 setup. But it can be that Inventor is not the best example for that. Maybe I´can do some more testing.
regards

Hi Loop29,
i never said anything about the 52.70 driver, i even did not download this one yet
But the older 5x.xx are weak in OGL , so i guess they fixed that in 52,70?
