Angry Halo - HELP !! - 10-16-2003, 00:38 | posts: n/a

Just installed Halo, but cant get it working.
Been advised to turn off anti-aliasing - but how??
Currently using detonator v. 45.23, but I don't think its to do with the driver release as such.

It could be my card just aint up to the job - fair enough.
Box states 32MB card req'd, which I do have?

I have an AGP Riva TNT2 Model 64/64 Pro installed.

Is it because this game needs T&L (?) and I don't have it??

Arrrgghhh..
Someone put me out of my misery..I just wanna play.......

Even if you got the game working, I'm almost certain the framerates would not be playable on that videocard.

Hardware T&L was first supported on the Geforce (1 generation after the TNT2) so your card would not support it on hardware, but it should still run T&L in software. Did you check the Halo FAQ (should be with help files with the game) and does it list any known issues or support for your TNT2 even? Some developers won't support older cards like the TNT2.

i feel your pain... but you were probably better off buying an xbox and halo than upgrading your pc to play it.

TNT M64 is the worst TNT ever.
its a shame that NVIDIA even called it TNT.
I think ur card wont run that game. Its not even Dx7 card. an it wont support HW T&L
