Default Speeded up Image - 08-25-2003, 10:25 | posts: n/a

After upgrading my comp and seeing there were new stereo drivers for my ED 3D glasses I decided to dust them off.

All went well on installation.

I tried using the glasses on F1 2002 and some of that games mods but it appeared the picture went into FF mode.

I tried GPL and all was well apart from a fuzzy edge round the picture (it was as though I was viewing thro a window)

Unfortunately neither game has a pre set config within the stereo driver package

Can anyone tell me wants happening and how I can fix it

Thanks in advance

When you say drivers for your glasses do you mean nVIDIA stereo drivers or the ones the E-D gives ? (When you ask them)

Hi Glidefan

These are the drivers from this site (drivers 45.23 and the stereo drivers for same)

Sorry I didn't give you more info. I have XP system, 512mb RAM,
FX5200 graphics card.

I also d/l the NVidia Users guide. This does not mention speeding up.

Try to give a test run to the drivers E-D makes.

Hi Glidefan

Have changed the drivers as you suggested. Still the same result.
It looks like the thing is on fast forward mode. Could it be doubling the frame rate or something?

As I said I've tried it out on GPL. Must say it works better in D3D.

Have tried it with Nascar 2003. In D3d it was as good as I could have hoped for but it wouldn't enable in OpenGL.

I thought the EA games were D3D so I am now lost.

Its a real pity because N2003 looks beautiful.

If its important I've noticed the picture flashes from time to time

Kind Regards

Hi Glidefan

Solved my little problem. Seems the keys to turn on the glasses were the same as to turn on time acceleration.

Thanks for your time

Hm! never knew that! "time acceleration"? Is it in the goggles? or is it in the games?
