Default O/C settings Consistent? - 07-04-2003, 03:02 | posts: 828

Question for y'all...

I Overclocked my card no problems with Rivatuner...fine and dandy...

Then i had to reformat my computer, install graphics drivers and rivatuner again...

Now i opened up RivaTUner, then the Overclocking Tab ,and it said before it could do anything it had to detect my cards Memory and Clock settings...So i needed to reboot...

When i Rebooted it detected them but at the Stock Speeds not the Overclocked ones

SO....I went and Re-Overclocked the card back to what i had before i Reformatted and the settings were again Ok...

Wouldnt the Card STAY OVERCLOCKED once it has already been done once?So basically Im asking if this is normal?

THanks

formatting and reinstalling everything cleared the settings in windows/OS registry that altered the speed to oc-ed speed.

it's normal
