Well, I guess I'm missing something because noone else is posting this problem, or I just haven't found it.
I uninstalled 3dmark2001 sometime ago. Then upgraded to dx9.0a. Did it to run 3dmark2003. Now, I can't reinstall 3dmark2001 because, it stops the install when it doesn't see directx8.1. Is there a trick to this. I really don't want to format to get back to dx8.1 and I don't like the various dx uninstallers out there. Help!  According to the Futuremark Faq, build 330 is supposed to work. I am downloading a fresh copy and will try it again. Maybe all the copies I had on file were build 300? Stay tuned. |
