Question D3D Reg keys for NVHardPage - 03-21-2003, 21:40 | posts: 1 | Location: AZ, USA

when i've used the NVIDIA drivers themselves to alter the graphics settings (WindowsXP Pro, v2600, SP1), the format is :

D3D_[setting] [DWORD value]

this syntax seems to be the standard. when i use NVHardPage for the same thing, i notice the settings are written as:

D3D_D3D_[setting] [DWORD value]

i noticed the version prior to 1.21 wrote the regkeys correctly - but now, version 1.21 writes the extra D3D value.

1) is this a bug in the program?
2) which is the correct syntax for the D3D regkeys?

other than that small problem (which can be manually 'hacked' easily enough) NVHardPage kicks some ass. keep up the good work.

cheers...

Hi,

Are you sure? You look into windows registry? Because in nVHardPage database window is D3D_D3D_[setting] , but for writing nVHardPage use (for WinXP with detonators 29.60 and higher) D3D_[setting] [BINARY value] syntax.

Thanxxx
