but isnt an upgrade from a 9700 pro to geforce fx a minimal upgrade? the geforce fx is supposed to be just up to 30% faster

Radeon keeps freezing or restarting my games, depending on what driver I use. They have no clue...... Ever read the ATI forum? Many problems and I know when I got my Geforce 3 I never had one problem, I upgrade to 9700 pro and all I have is problems. So what I am going to do is buy another Radeon 9700 pro, return the open one. Sale the unopened one on E-bay and then by a geforce 4, reyurn after 25 days. Then buy it again and return it every 25 days and so on till the FX comes out then finally return it for the last time. A lot of work I guess but if ATI didn't make a pill of crap I wouldn't have to do this. I have worked and done everything they have said, I totaly rebuilt a cpu for this card. You see my specs below..... It started as a gateway cpu, all that is left is the DVD and RW drive oh and SB card. New power supply, MOBO, Ram etc........ I guess it's good for me but I shouldn't have to go through all this. ATI made a Nvida customer for life. So even if it is a small upgrade to FX at least I know I should have no problems or none like I got from ATI. By the way, I have rebuilt me current cpu twice, replacing everything twice thinking it was something besides the ATI card, when the cpu recovers from crashing or lock ups XP says it a display "9700" do I want to send to microsoft...... LONG LIVE NIVIDA!

don't worry, if ATI buys nVidia like nVidia bought 3dfx, then they'll get better drivers
