    Hey there fellas:

For at least the last two driver revisions, the Nvidia control panel has started breaking. And by this I mean the right click on desktop context menu curiously disappears (see pic) and the control panel entry doesn't respond either.

The only way to get it back working again is to end task in task manager on the Nvidia Container and that makes it reappear.

Never seen this before and now it's a regular issue.

    Any ideas?

Running Windows 10 myself and everything still works.

Try doing a complete wipe with DDU.

I always do. Every new driver install. I did miss one a while ago mind you. Might be worth a look.

IIRC it's one of the NVIDIA services, I caused it a while ago by disabling something I shouldn't when I was killing NVIDIA telemetry

Can't remember what it was atm

Yeah some of the recent drivers had that with the creator's update. Install the latest WHQL 382.33 or 378.92 and you shouldn't have that.

Ahhh, yes the creator's update has definitely caused a few glitches. And alas, on 382.33 I still get the same issue.

I was having the same issue, and decided to remove the driver with the latest DDU then reinstalled it... Now, it's running for a few days without crashing...382.36's here.

Yeah ID'd it soon after posting. The service isn't stopping, but it's like the DLL it's linked to itself is crashing.
