because I can't seem to find any, to see how well the thermals are, noise, OC potential, etc

I want to get a GTX 1080 and this Paliti is the least expensive at the moment.

I had a Palit GTX 470 and it wasn't bad and the cooling wasn't bad and overclocked a little.

I wouldn't go with it , the Palit Gamerock is one of the best cooled (if not the best) Gtx 1080, i'd try and get that instead.

Look at zotac, the Extreme AMP 1080 is also very nicely cooled but the 2 ventilator variant of their AMP series sucks at cooling.

Or you could also go for the Asus Strix 1080, doesnt matter if it's the OC version or not.

The thing is that the Palit Gamerock is around 70 euros more expensive in my country, the same is true for the others Extreme AMP and Asus Strix. I can get the Palit Dual OC for a little under 500 euros.
