Now this ought to be a real threat to ARM servers, as long as the price is competitive. Though it makes me wonder how much NAS companies will trust it, considering the issues of the CPUs they're currently using. I have no clue how this could be applicable to any IoT applications - seems seriously overkill for that.
I wonder if you can get a set of the cheapest of these. They would make killer little OpenWRT routers.
Shouldn't this announcement start with: "We, Intel, humbly apologize for the fiasco of our former "Atom" CPU and offer a free-of-charge upgrade to all affected parties..."?
