    Hmm, I'm quite confused.

Why he used almost 3 months old build of the game (1.50.xx vs. current 2.2.0.5)?

Anyway, results are in par with R9 390(X)... so is that a Vega 11?

Maybe it's a refresh of the 480, and vega would be like the fury(a name instead of a number)

I think that this is the p10 refresh rather than vega 11

Probably a Polaris refresh. Maybe a 2560 SPs?

since Hilbert said Polaris is gonna be a part of the upcoming RX500 maybe it is a P10 refresh, more SPs some higher clocks maybe?

I dont think that 200 SPs more compared to 480 could make such a difference.

I thought Vega 11 was replacing Polaris 10 (as in the RX480), and also having a RX470 Vega 11, with Polaris 11 taking over the lower end of the RX 500 series?

The RX480 and it's pricing represents the most attractive preposition for buyers. Vega 11 rumoured specs is supposedly similar on paper to Polaris 10 RX480. The 5th generation GCN is supposedly introducing some significant performance and efficiency improvements, they will want to be capitalising on this in the mid to high end gaming market. Yes, I put the RX480 in the high end gaming market. You have to remember above high end there is enthusiast level (which Vega 10 and GTX1080/1080 Ti would fall under).

Just higher clocks would be great actually. The benches we see are usually with factory 480s, there are already models like the XFX one that is 110MHz higher clocked.
