    Hello,

I just updated my Nvidia graphic card from a 4GB GTX 760 to a 6GB GTX 1060. I'm puzzled as to why in Piriform's Speccy (PC specification software) report, the GTX 1060 is apparently not shown as having 6MB.

In Speccy the GTX 760 was reported as:
    Memory 4095 MB

The GTX 1060 is reported as:
    Physical Memory 2047 MB
    Virtual Memory 2048 MB

The Nvideo system readout does show the GTX 1060's 6GB GDDR.

Is there an explanation why Speccy is showing the memory of these two cards in such different ways, and not showing the GTX 1060's 6MB of graphic memory?

    Tony

Download a GPU-z and check it out. There is also 3GB and 6GB ver of 1060.

Thanks. Just done that and it reports 6144 MB. Is that 6.1 GB? (sorry, I'm a bit new to this).

    1024MB x 6 = 6144....you have 6GB

1 Gigabyte is equal to 1024 megabytes (binary).
