Possible Wattman bug workaround for Hawaii (290x) users (17.1.1)

    first, ddu,

    second install full 16.11.5's (can get them in guru3d's driver download section)

    then, run the 17.1.1 installer, choose "custom install" then uncheck the "Radeon Settings" box, as shown in this image

    then install, this at least so far has worked for me, its not an ideal solution, but if it works, and dosnt cause clock cycling issues when using trixx or ab to oc/set custom fan profiles i call that a win, even if others think suggesting such a thing is unacceptable for whatever reason...

    Not even touching Wattman except for monitoring. I know better than to mess around with buggy software.

    AMD has received alot of praises for their software innovations, as they should have.
    But the fact is that the Crimson panel is still in alpha phase with some basic features completely missing or simply not working.

    HI, thanks for this but dont work for me :(, crap AMD with this relive drivers and my rig (freezes, artifacts when using AB, etc..). Go back to 16.11.5 the best stable drivers, relive drivers dont work for me.
