Anyone have an opinion on the what the best looking case is? Personally I like this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...&cm_re=deepcool_genome-_-11-853-041-_-Product
I'm more for functionality rather than fancy designs/colors. I quite like my a540 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16811139022
Probably has a lot to do with ones personal preference as I find the look of that case horrendous tbh. I prefer something a lot more simpler looking like the Define series by Fractal or Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG which IMO is the best case out there considering both looks and internal HW support/compatibility.
I'm fairly happy with my cheap thermaltake h24 case, cause unlike my expensive antec p180 in the past, it doesn't weigh a god damn ton.
The best looking case is very personal. I prefer the sober monolith look of my define R5 (and Define S and all smaller variants) without window. I don't like the lightshows of some cases (although it's pretty cool to see what can be done)
I really like and ended up with a Corsair Crystal 570X RGB Tempered Glass Premium ATX Mid Tower Case but pulled the lovely LED fans out in lieu of putting in a 360mm radiator with fans that run at a higher RPM
I'm fond of any case that is large, ruggedly built and black in color (think the CoolerMaster HAF series). Some of the Thermaltake Armor cases had me drooling a decade or so ago, but I don't really have a current favorite case based on looks.
Still digging my 2 year old Corsair 540D. Spacious, keeps stuff well hidden with the dual chambers. has enough room on top for Hulk and Iron Man to have a fight.
Core X9 thermaltake. Phanteks Enthoo Primo. Of course that Genome case is good looking, just that the old one had the pump leaking so Genome 2 would be the way to go.
For some time I thought the NZXT H440W was the prettiest case out there but along came Corsair Crystal 570X and that's the case I have on my wishlist. It's insanely expensive but I suppose it's worth it!
I'm still quite partial to my Corsair C70 in Military Green. I have a custom cut acrylic window for mine to get rid of the horrendous stock one with fan grills and it just has a timeless look imo. Of course this is all fairly subjective, but I just think it's good looking in a functional and rugged sort of way.
Just about any full tower Phanteks, IMO. ..Something about them, makes me want to switch out the old antec 1200.
Same here, Define R5 and really like the, to me stylish, simple finish. Makes your PC look more like a piece of HiFi equipment than a computer.
Still liking this Great window. roomy good quality. Space for my fan controller up front and I want to see my red LED fans in the front, I feel assured with the open mesh cooling. Still has lots of potential for a rebuild¨
