I'm ending 2016 with an N6P.... Hopefully it'll survive 2017. At 8 months old, my N5x already had to be replaced. IMHO, after several months, the N5x was a poor replacement for the N5....

    Nothing atm

    Nexus 5x isn't good enough
Nexus 6p has battery issues and can be broken easily
Pixel has freezing and sound issues

Guess my Nexus 6 will see another year, won't be buying anything from companies like Samsung that are terrible with updates.

I'm waiting for the Global release of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime (with Band 20 LTE) then I'll get that to replace my Galaxy S3 which basically has no battery life and chokes browsing the internet.

Have a Nexus 6P now.. Nexus 4, Nexus 10, Nexus 7, Nexus 4G before that...

I'm going to upgrade late in 2017 to whatever the followup to the current Google Pixel is. I'm skipping the Pixel as it's a marginal upgrade if that compared to the 6P

Looking at the LG V20. Was initially interested in the Note 7, but for obvious reasons that was a no-go.

Nexus 5x isn't good enough? That's an understatement.... After 8 months, my 5x became nearly useless. Mine freezes constantly....it won't backup at all. I lost all of the data on the phone when I switched to the 6P....

    What phone you currently own?

I'm okay with my Galaxy S7 and I think he serve me 3-4 years without problems. So maybe I change it on something like Galaxy S11. :)

Looks like the 6P has issues of it's own. Bootloop issues, battery issues and then this.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTIaUH6PIvo

That video is a joke. He claims he's only applying "a little bit of pressure" during his "bend test" but you can see him struggling to bend it. How many people put a lighter to a phone? Only idiots. During his "scratch" test, you can see him increase the pressure he's applying to the screen, which results in it cracking.

Every phone has issues of some sort, but the creator of that video is an idiot.

Nexus 5x has boot loop issues, random reboot issues, battery issues, lag, freezing...... There's a lot list of issues that keep becoming more and more obvious as Google releases updates for it.
