I have no idea what it is, but mine does the same thing. It will sit at ~40C at idle but the INSTANT any load comes around it shoots up to ~140C in a few seconds. It has been doing that for 8 months, or at least that was the first time I checked it, but my computer has been rock solid and all other temps are fine. I assume it is misreading something.
Thanks. That's what I'm thinking as well. Of course, if anyone has any other ideas, feel free to post.
Its a glitch, hwinfo64 doesn't support that vrm? sensor properly. I've seen it on my Z87 too, and mobo is still fine after +3.5yrs
Hi there I wouldn't be worried about those temps as some sensors will default to highest values as some monitoring SW doesn't support those features or sensors Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
i had a temp like that I lowered LLC in bios (was a while ago think it was llc) and now I have around 40c when gaming
