Hello, while watching a video I recorded in Battlefield one the other night, I noticed my on screen display was flashing during the video. I use MSI afterburner and RTSS to record.

Even when I have the setting for "show on screen display on captured screenshots and videos" set to off, it still shows up.

During gameplay, the OSD does not look like this at all.

    Here's an example - [IMG]

Some more info from my setup, I record at 60 fps, but I cap the FPS with RTSS. I'm using DX12 for battlefield one, and I'm using Afterburner 4.3.0 and RTSS 6.6.0 Beta 2.

I tested doing the same thing in Rocket League and the OSD did not show up in my recorded video at all.

Do you have two cards and use SLI?

I did some more testing today.

I run my monitor at 120hz, the issue only appears in recorded videos when BF1 is capped to anything over 60.

For example, capped at 75, flashing. Capped at 80, flashing. Capped at 60, no flashing. Not sure if this helps at all.

which framerate has your recorded video?

if you cap at a multiply of that framerate,do you get flashing?
    for example: video at 30fps
    no flashing at 30, 60, 90?
    flashing at 45, 75, etc.?

I cap my videos at 60 FPS recorded, but even when I use RTSS to cap the framerate of my game to 90 there is still flashing on the recording.

    Example [IMG]

    here's a screenshot of my recording/RTSS settings.

    90 isn't a multiple of 60, 120 was.

    Sorry, I misread your post.

Here's the results of the video being recorded at 30 fps.

    recording - 30
    game capped at - 30

    Flashing - [IMG]

    recording - 30
    game capped at - 60

    no flashing

    recording - 30
    game capped at - 90

    flashing - [IMG]

so it seems that the only time it doesn't flash is when the fps is capped to 60.

could you enable "Framerate limit" at 60fps (same as video recording framerate)?
the option right below the setting for framerate at which the video is recorded.
