does information have to come with a point to it?
everyone values this information differently, no need to discredit the messenger for giving information that you have no interest in.

That is odd. Don't people already own R9 Fury cards? I thought those were the ones on the market for years now. Wouldn't be be looking for something more like an RX Fury of some kind for maybe Vega chips?

Not harping on the OP, this just seems like terrible naming if they are in fact new cards.

Maby it's related to New Fiji Drivers, new way of handling stuff for Fiji Based GPUs
More efficient, i've heard rumors about something is going to change (for Better) as for Fiji HBMs chips, besides Vega is close and its on 2.5D stack + HBM also :book:

    No :)

We need to wait for some AMD/ATI News about new Year Driver -> Then do some Gaming or tests.
But we will be Happy for sure :)

BTW after switch from 16.7/16.8 to 16.9.x WDDM 2.1 i got ~700 points more in 3Dmark Perf. GPU -> Driver after driver we got some % better performance.
Not tested 16.10.x but Games runs OK on my side.

    PS>
Im not skeptical about my leaks about ~20-30% boost from New Year driver (Yes its a Leak, we need to wait and test)

As I said, there is a new addition here but in the future will not take the time to share.

In particular when you compare to previous drivers the new one is this

    "%AMD7300.5%" = ati2mtag_R7000, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_7300&REV_CB

AMD7300.5 = "AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series"

I could of been more specific This does not exist in 16.9.2
